The Istine winery is quite recent and owned by a family whose origins are proudly peasant.
In '59 Bruno Fronti created a service business in agriculture from scratch, which was subsequently successfully grown thanks to the collaboration with his sons Fabio and Stefano. Agrichianti today is one of the most established companies in earthmoving, vineyard systems and green management.
Therefore, working in the wine sector for many years, land is gradually purchased to plant the vineyards. Today Istine owns almost 20 hectares of vineyards, mainly in the municipality of Radda in Chianti and secondarily in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti. These vineyards are obviously not merged, but in separate plots. Until a few years ago the wine produced, except for a small part for home, was sold in bulk to other wineries.

It was natural with the second generation to start their own bottled production. With the 2009 harvest and the first 3000 bottles of Chianti Classico, what had always been considered a passion up to that time, which integrates and completes the family business, begins to materialize. The commitment for the future is to grow, maintaining an attachment to traditions and the territory, looking for certified organic from the 2016 harvest.
