The Barolo “Paese Tuoi” from the Vite Colte winery is a complex and structured red wine from the Langhe area in Piedmont. This label is obtained from an assembly of pure Nebbiolo grapes from various suppliers in the areas suitable for the production of Barolo. The vines, located at different altitudes, generally between 300 and 500 meters high, are grown with the traditional guyot method on predominantly marly soils of both Helvetian and Tortonian origin. The winery is a cooperative that gathers 180 producers, all committed to producing high quality grapes that can give life to wines linked to the extraordinary vocation of the territory.

The "Paese Tuoi" Barolo is produced with carefully selected grapes and harvested exclusively by hand, generally around the first weeks of October. The grapes are then crushed and destemmed in the cellar where they carry out alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature for about 15-20 days, with long maceration on the skins. The wine is drawn off and the consequent aging of the wine in large oak barrels for at least 24 months. After bottling, the Barolo remains to mature for a further 12 months in the bottle before being put on the market.

Vite Colte's Barolo “Paese Tuoi” shows an intense ruby red color with light garnet hues. Complex aromas of ripe red fruit appear on the nose, including cherry and raspberry, floral notes of violets, spicy hints of licorice, wild herbs, undergrowth and graphite. In the mouth it is intense, vigorous and consistent, characterized by a fine but present tannic texture, a good freshness and a long and persistent finish. This, from the Vite Colte winery, is a decisive, elegant and harmonious Barolo that denotes excellent value for money.
