The Barolo red wine "Sorì Ginestra" is one of the heavyweights of the entire denomination, which, at least once in a lifetime, must be tasted. At every sip, in fact, the beauty of Nebbiolo grown in one of the most important crus of the Langhe emerges, where the typical scents of the varietal are mixed with tertiary scents deriving from the long period of ageing. A bottle signed Conterno Fantino almost mythological, a collector's bottle for those who love to invest in the world of wine, or a memorable drink for those who want to enjoy the luxury of an unforgettable label!

This Barolo "Sorì Ginestra" is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes, grown right inside the cru that gives the label its name. The vines, whose age is between 30 and 45 years, grow in a south-facing terroir composed of a subsoil in which, besides a significant percentage of silt, we also find clay and sand. The berries, grown organically and selected manually during the harvest by Conterno Fantino's team, ferment and macerate in contact with the skins in horizontal steel winemakers for 8-15 days. The wine is then aged for 24 months in barriques and then, after bottling, for another 12 months directly in glass.

The "Sorì Ginestra" is a Barolo that, in the glass, develops with a very deep, garnet-coloured hue. The range of scents that trace the olfactory profile of this label moves on sensations of withered flowers, embellished with notes of fruit and distant hints of spices. On tasting it is of excellent body, important, with a refined sip, which flows impeccably on the palate thanks to a perfectly worked tannin. A great Piedmontese red wine, with which the Conterno Fantino winery is at the top of the entire denomination.
