"La Casa in Collina" is a Barbaresco that is made by the Vite Colte winery according to the traditional Langhe production approach, whereby Nebbiolo is assembled starting from different vineyards and then matured in large barrels, thus summarizing the classic overall vision of the denomination of belonging. A full and velvety wine, with a delicately tannic sip that goes well with land-based menus, especially with Piedmontese meats and with another precious ingredient of the territory, the white truffle of Alba.

The Barbaresco "La Casa in Collina" comes from the grapes of the most important red grape variety in Piedmont, Nebbiolo. Vite Colte cultivates it in different plots characterized by different microclimates and terroirs. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30 degrees and lasts for 20 days. After the malolactic process, the wine is aged in large oak barrels for more than 12 months. After the bottling operations, a further 12 months maturation takes place, directly in glass.

The "Casa in Collina" is a Barbaresco that upon visual examination is announced with a typical garnet color, with good intensity. The olfactory spectrum is orchestrated around refined and intense aromas in which the small berries take the stage, then enriched by a more toasty scent from which some tertiary notes emerge. In the mouth it is full-bodied, structured, broad, with a sip that flows delicately on the palate thanks to a finely integrated tannic texture. It closes with a good persistence, centered on a floral aftertaste.
