The Barolo "Lecinquevigne" of Damilano is a classic version of the great and important Piedmontese red wine, faithful to the most ancient customs of the area. According to the Langhe tradition, Barolo was produced with grapes coming, not only from different vineyards, but also from different areas of the denomination in order to have a more balanced and complex wine. It is the label that best allows you to know and appreciate the general character of this prestigious wine, without going into the nuances between the different municipal areas and the different crus. The name highlights this typical character very well. The wine expresses aromas of small dark berry fruits, hints of undergrowth and slight floral nuances, which soften its profile.

"Lecinquevigne" Barolo is the result of a winery that has numerous plots in different areas of the Langhe. Damilano cultivates vineyards in the renowned crus of: Cannubi, Brunate, Cerequio and Liste, as well as some plots in the municipalities of Barolo, Ginzane Cavour, Novello and Monforte. Precisely this wide possibility of choice makes it possible to create a traditional Barolo, an expression of the strong union between the Nebbiolo grape and the land of the Langhe. The desire to connect to the past arises from the awareness that great wines are the result of a long journey of passion and experience. The Damilano labels represent the authentic face of Barolo and for decades they have been an icon of Piedmontese wine.

"Lecinquevigne" of Damilano is a Barolo that was born in the heart of the denomination and is proposed as a real synthesis of the best characteristics of 5 different territories of the denomination. At the end of the harvest, the best bunches are sent to fermentation at controlled temperature, with a maceration period on the skins for a couple of weeks. Before bottling, the wine ages for 24 months in wooden barrels. Barolo has an intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. The nose reveals delicate aromas of violet and rose, aromas of small red berry fruits, hints of humus, blond tobacco, leather and spices. The sip is important and structured, with well-present tannins and intense and very persistent aromas. A real passport to get to know the Langhe.
