Obsequium Friends Price

Lamuri wine is one of the wines of the Tasca D'Almerita winery line, a true manifesto of love and passion for Nero D'avola and the Sicilian territory. A wine for every day, able to stand out for its particularly advantageous price quality. A long history of valorisation of the territory and its principle vines is that which has linked Tasca d'Almerita to Sicily since the nineteenth century. A vast estate, of about 600 hectares, spread between five sub-areas, having as its basic belief the enhancement of biodiversity and environmental sustainability. Always a state-of-the-art winery, since the acquisition of the first possessions in 1830, Tasca d'Almerita has been able to create a style that is a skilful combination of tradition and modernity.

Lamuri red comes from a selection of Nero D'Avola grown in the high hills, a feature that gives it greater freshness and a clear definition of primary aromas. The vineyards are located between 450 and 750 meters above sea level and are cultivated with limited yields. The fermentation takes place in steel containers and after the malolactic fermentation takes place the liquid is refined in French oak barriques for 20% new while for 80% of the second and third passage, for the duration of 12 months. The passage in wood dampens the more gritty nature of the hill Nero D'Avola, making it softer and more elegant.

Lamuri shows a lively ruby red color when poured. Already from the first smell it makes clear its aromatic sharpness made of mulberry, berries and spicy traces of cloves. The sip is perfectly balanced between freshness and envelopment, and continually invites a new taste. Extremely ductile liquid, it goes well with regional preparations such as couscous and grilled meats, without forgetting well-seasoned first courses. A small piece of Sicily in liquid form!
