To discover the origins of the Maison Laurent-Perrier it is necessary to go back to 1812, the year in which the winery was founded by André and Michel Pierlot. Located in Tours-sur-Marne, in Champagne-Ardenne, it was in 1881 that the fortunes of the company were written, when Eugene Laurent, cellarman of the Pierlots, together with his wife Mathilde Emilie Perrier decided to take over the maison by taking over the leadership, and later changing its name to Laurent-Perrier.

From here, through various vicissitudes, history leads us up to Mary-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt first, and then to her son Bernard, who represents the true soul of the champagnes that can be tasted today. Characterized mainly by the use of chardonnay and pinot noir grapes - with the exception of Cuvée Rosè made exclusively from pinot noir grapes - Laurent-Perrier Champagne rests at least four years before being marketed.

Currently run by the daughters of Bernard, Alexandra and Stephanie Lanson de Nonancourt, the Maison now has 150 hectares of vines and stands out for its special and unique style, certainly due also to the obsessive search for perfection in all production stages, starting from the rows to get to the bottle. In the vineyard, the approach is minimalist, so we tend to cultivate plants while respecting the environment, nature and ecosystem as much as possible. In the cellar, the philosophy is no different: by vinifying each individual plot separately, the Laurent-Perrier maison has been processing the steel grapes at controlled temperatures since the 1950s, so as to keep the freshness and aromatic complexity of the fruit intact and unaltered . Finally, during the sparkling process, each step is controlled with method and rigor, using the most modern oenological technologies, always used without ever outclassing the most ancient territorial traditions.

From Brut to Rosé, from Millesimati to “Grand Siècle”, up to Demi-Sec and Ultra Brut, this is how Laurent-Perrier Champagnes are born: timeless bubbles, among the most prestigious that France is currently able to offer .
