Tenuta San Vincenti is located in the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti, 30 kilometers from Siena, in the heart of the historically oldest area of Chianti. A typical area that boasts a strong vocation for the production of wines of extraordinary and very high quality. San Vincenti protector of fields, vineyards and winemakers who is depicted in ecclesiastical iconography with a beautiful bunch of grapes in his hand, is the Saint to whom the small village located near the farm is dedicated. How special this area is for the production of wine is perfectly expressed by a joke by Carlo Ferrini, the winemaker who has always followed the San Vincenti production: "... here the wine, on this land, from these vineyards ... it can only be wasted ... ". A lot of work, a lot of energy was spent on this land that had to offer the strength of a perfect vocation: 60 hectares in the heart of Chianti, distributed between 350 and 450 meters with a composition of sand and marl.
