Spadaio and Piecorto are two estates that rise in the full territory of the Chianti Classico. The Fattoria di Piecorto is located in the municipality of Poggibonsi on a small medieval village deriving from an ancient fortress of the Florentine Republic of the twelfth century. The Farm ofSpadaio instead is located in the area of San Donato in Poggio at an altitude of 430m s.l.m. and it is where all the phases of theproduction and aging of wines. The two estates cover a total area of 90 hectares, of which 14 hectares are intended for the production ofwine and 20 hectares for the production of DOP extra virgin olive oil.
