Prestigious champagne, Laurent-Perrier's Cuvée Grand Siècle was born from the innovative will of Bernard de Nonancourt. The Cuvée Grand Siècle embodies the quintessence of the art of Champagne: the art of assembly. Free from the Champenois conventions, the Cuvée Grand Siècle of the Maison Laurent-Perrier was born in 1959. It therefore embodies Bernard de Nonancourt's mission: "Assembling the best with the best to get the best".

Champagne not vintage, the Cuvée Grand Siècle Laurent-Perrier is the result of three exceptional vintages assembled in accordance with an ancestral know-how, which brings together only the best crus and the best vines. The result is a Champagne with a unique style: the Grand Siècle style.

Singular, the Cuvée Laurent-Perrier is recognizable by its appearance. Majestic and refined, its bottle with sculpted curves and a slender neck that pays homage to the experience of the master glassmakers of the seventeenth century. With its name reminiscent of the time of the Sun King Louis XIV, the Cuvée Grand Siècle also celebrates the heyday of the arts, gastronomy and French art de vivre.

Year after year, the Cuvée Grand Siècle was born from a blend obtained from a selection of 11 of the 17 Grands Crus from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Mailly for Pinot Noir, Avize, Cramant and Le Mesnil-Over-Oger for Chardonnay. Complementarity shapes the identity of Laurent-Perrier's Cuvée Grand Siècle by combining structure, finesse and freshness.

It is only after 7-8 years of a long and patient aging time in the darkness of the Laurent-Perrier gypsum quarries that the Cuvée Grand Siècle sees the light.

Grand Siècle is revealed to the eye with an elegant bright color that highlights the subtlety of the perlage. With a great aromatic richness, the bouquet reveals its complexity on the greedy freshness of the candied citrus notes, the aromas of dried fruit that evoke the sweetness of the almond, the notes of brioche and the gingerbread aromas. On the palate, the Cuvée Grand Siècle evolves with elegance, unfolding a vinous structure with a generous flavor. The mark of the large limestone soils is reflected in the strength of a chalky minerality, which extends persistently in the length of a fresh finish.
