P.R. BRUT BLANC DE BLANCS

The Franciacorta Brut "P.R." of Monte Rossa is a sparkling wine created to celebrate 35 years of activity of this prestigious Franciacorta winery. A sincere and profound tribute to the historical founders of the company, Paola Rovetta, a pioneer of sparkling wine making in the area, and her husband Paolo Rabotti, the first president of the Franciacorta Consortium, who bears the common initials of their names and surnames on the label: "P.R.". A Blanc de Blancs that confirms the quality objectives that Monte Rossa aims to achieve harvest after harvest, becoming a reference point in the entire production area.

The prerogatives of this "P.R." sparkling wine Brut di Monte Rossa are without any doubt elegance and personality, which find their maximum expressiveness on the property land of morainic-glacial origin, located in the hilly area between Adro, Iseo and Cazzago San Martino, capable of giving the wines the right amount of flavour and freshness. Traits that can be found in the final glass thanks to a well studied and measured vinification that takes place in steel vats and oak barrels, and then ends in the bottle with a 24-month pause on the yeasts.

The "P.R. Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs of the Monte Rossa winery is produced, as the typology requires, entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown on 22 crus located in 78 hectares of property. The blend consists of 65% of grapes from the current harvest and 35% of reserve wines, patiently kept within the cool walls of the cellar. A chalice that gushes elegant and persistent bubbles, which surprises the nose with scents of lily of the valley, plum, white peach and citrus fruits. The sip, satisfying and persistent, is distinguished by a perfect balance between the structure and complexity of the reserve wine and the white envelopment of the vintage Chardonnay.
