Augier's Cognac Le Sauvage comes from a blend of excellent spirits made from Ugni Blanc grapes, coming exclusively from the Cru of Cognac Petit Champagne. The soil, characterized by a strong presence of chalk, contributes to giving the distillate an incomparable structure and balance. It ages in new French oak barrels.
Golden yellow in color, it releases a powerful and vibrant aroma on the nose that refers to tropical fruit. On the palate it reveals a remarkably complex body, with notes of candied apricot and a persistent and slightly spicy finish, on tones of vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.
Excellent with apple and honey desserts, it goes very well with refined and structured game dishes.
