Pierluigi Talenti, in the fifties, bought the property and land that had so fascinated him, moving from Romagna to the sweet and sunny hills of Montalcino. Over the years he has dedicated himself to the clonal research of Sangiovese in the area, bringing his wines to the highest levels of quality. Today Riccardo Talenti, respecting tradition, continues his research and continues his work with the same passion and stubbornness as his grandfather. The estate was born from the ancient "Pian di Conte" farm, renovated and enlarged over the years, not far from Sant’Angelo in Colle, on the southern side of the municipality of Montalcino. The property covers an area of 40 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, orchards and a part of arable land surrounded by centuries-old holm oak woods, typical of the Ilcinese territory. Talenti cultivates and works the land in full respect of tradition. The harvesting of grapes and olives has always been done manually. The vineyards are divided into eleven different plots that are each characterized by altitude, exposure and composition of the land, giving life to incredibly complex and deep red wines.
