Filippo's forty years of experience and passion for viticulture, now flanked by the young Elisa, his daughter who has joined the company full time since 2007, have ensured that Tenuta Fanti maintains the very important role gained over the years in the Montalcino district and in the panorama national and international oenological.
Currently, the approximately fifty hectares of vineyards, where the Sangiovese variety obviously prevails with 80%, are managed by making meticulous and rigorous agronomic choices, all based on the utmost respect for the environment, nature and ecosystem. Between the rows, chemical interventions are reduced to a minimum, in favor of organic fertilization and mechanical processing, and the vineyards are treated almost maniacally.
