When around the mid-80s of the last century - in 1984 to be exact - Virgilio and Rita bought the original two hectares of vineyards, they would never have imagined that shortly thereafter the Tua Rita winery, located in Suvereto in province of Livorno, would one day extend over a total area of 35 hectares of vines. The company's production philosophy, in the name of uncompromising quality, necessarily starts from the management of the vineyards.
Tua Rita's cellar was enlarged and completely revised between 2000 and 2002 to support a high-profile production, which today stands at 220,000 bottles, Tua Rita's cellar first of all obeys operational needs, in the wake of the great Italian tradition of the artisan factory. Moreover, the enological interventions are few and not very invasive.
