From the union of vines that recall the French tradition and the historical incursions suffered by the territory of the upper Maremma. The use of vines that are 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, and 10% Sangiovese. The different vineyards, both in Bolgheri and in the neighboring area of Bibbona, mainly planted on brown soils rich in silt and clay. The vinification foresees that the grapes according to the variety carry out fermentation and maceration separately for about 15 days. After 12 months of aging in wood, it is blended and a few months in the bottle before being marketed. Whether they come from Piedmont or Tuscany, those of Angelo Gaja are indistinctly excellent wines, able to always express themselves on high taste - olfactory profiles. The same is true for the Toscana Rosso IGT "Promis", vinified in the Ca'Marcanda di Gaja estate. It matures for 18 months in barrique and is characterized by easy drinking, which is combined with a magnificent aromatic complexity, to create a label that, like all the other brands of the brand, travels on levels unthinkable to be reached by most. Great.
