Brunello di Montalcino Il Marroneto is one of the reference labels of the Montalcino area, one of the most loved by connoisseurs. Son of a particularly suited terroir and made with passion and craftsmanship, it is one of the most interesting expressions of pure Sangiovese grosso. Able to combine intensity and elegance, complexity and smoothness, it surprises with stylistic precision and longevity. It is a prestigious bottle, to be brought to the table on a special evening and to be tasted with a cut of Chianina or with roast game.

Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino is born in the area north of the village of Montalcino, in the locality of Madonna delle Grazie. The estate extends over 6 hectares, with old terraced vineyards, which give high quality grapes. The wines are only among the best excellences of the appellation, characterized by an elegant and always impeccable style. The Sangiovese grosso vineyards are located at an altitude of about 400 meters and are grown on soils mainly consisting of sands of ancient marine origin, rich in mineral elements. At the end of the harvest operations, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for a dozen days. The wine ages in large oak barrels for 39 months and ends the refinement period in the bottle, leaving the company cellars 5 years after the harvest.

The Brunello from the Il Marroneto winery is a wine of great charm, which is part of the elite of the best labels in the appellation. In the glass it has a beautiful bright and bright garnet red color. The olfactory profile is refined and intense, with floral aromas of violet, morello cherry, small red berries, hints of spice, notes of undergrowth, leather, licorice root, aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean and balsamic scrub. On the palate it is elegant, with delicate, complex aromas and a dense and velvety tannic texture, which envelops the sip in a harmonious way, accompanying it towards a very fresh and persistent finish. An absolutely unmissable Brunello, which reaches full expressive maturity after a few years of aging in the cellar.
