Il Poggione Riserva Villa Paganelli 2016

Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is produced only in the best vintages and in limited quantities. This wine is born only from the grapes of the oldest vineyard of the "I Paganelli" company, planted in 1964. These vines, used as a reference clone for the planting of the new vineyards, produce a very high quality grape that is harvested by selecting one for one the best and ripest bunches. After the manual harvest, the must ferments at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine spends a long period in French oak barrels, followed by a refinement in the bottle.

The “Vigna Paganelli” wine is a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva which, in the glass, takes on intense contours, which recall the hue of ruby ​​red. The bouquet of aromas that spreads to the nose is fascinating, with notes of red fruit that alternate with spicy sensations, also embellished by a nuance that brings back to the leather. On the palate it is of excellent intensity, round, full and warm, with a deep sip, characterized by a finish of great persistence. A truly excellent Tuscan red, which certifies the Il Poggione winery as one of the reference names for the production of Brunello.
