Le Chiuse 2019

Mythical vineyard where Brunello Riserva Biondi-Santi was once produced, today "Le Chiuse" is managed with great wisdom and on her own by the granddaughter of Ferruccio Biondi-Santi, Simonetta. The quality of the vineyard is indisputable where, thanks to the particular microclimate and soil, as well as the quality of the vines deriving from the original strains selected by Ferruccio, Brunello wines of great elegance and longevity are born. Harvesting is done manually, with fermentation in steel tanks and maceration on the skins for 20 days. The Brunello is then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 4 years.

The 2019 Brunello has an intense and complex nose with aromas of red fruits, rose, tobacco, cinchona and liquorice. In the mouth the sip is refined and with good structure, characterized by beautiful fruity pulp, smooth tannins and lively acid verve; contrasted and well balanced, it has depth and length even in the finish with fruity returns.
