This wine explains why Brunello is among the greatest wines of Italy. Another dimension is already perceived on the nose. We discover ethereal aromas such as balsamic notes, nuances of dried plums, cedar wood and raisins. Particularly fine and balanced on the palate. It reveals its complexity with a unique style, the exploration of which takes time and tranquility. An orchestral wine, fresh and relaxed, which glides on the palate.

Florentine steak, fillet, truffle or porcini dishes

To best enjoy it, it is recommended to decant the wine at least 1-2 hours before serving. Wine of great longevity, already remarkable if drunk now.

For the production of this excellent Brunello, only the best grapes are used every year. The production area is in Castelnuovo dell'Abate. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in 15-20 kg containers. The yield is only 3000-3500 kg per hectare. The grapes are subjected to different selections in the vineyard and a further choice is made manually in the cellar. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels. Spontaneous fermentation and maceration take place thanks to aeration. The wine remains in 30 hl oak barrels for 60 months and a further 12 months in the bottle. It is bottled without being filtered.
