Brunello di Montalcino Sugarille derives from a single vineyard, which appears for the first time in the inventory of the properties of Pieve Santa Restituta in 1547.
Predominantly clayey - calcareous soil with the presence of marl. The vines are over 25 years old.

Vinification The grapes from each vineyard are vinified and fermented separately for about three weeks.
The wine ages for eighteen months in barrique and for another ten months in traditional large barrels.
Characteristics Intense color, ample and clear aromas, with notes of berries which subsequently lead to floral and delicately spiced suggestions.
On the palate it gives a body of great balance with silky tannins, well blended in the structure, which ensure elegance and longevity.
First vintage produced 1990 (the first vintage produced by Gaja is 1995)
