The Brunello di Montalcino Terre Nere tells the story of a return to the origins: that of Pasquale Vallone, who in 1997 decided to resume the family profession, buying a splendid plot near Castelnuovo dell'Abate, the area of choice for Brunello . The Sangiovese vineyards, planted over time, arise in one of the most suitable areas of the Montalcino area, south-east of the hill on whose summit stands the Castello di Velata.

The rows, perennially caressed by a breeze, which rises from the valley of the Ente stream between Monte Amiata and Monte Nero, are surrounded by woods, in an uncontaminated environment, on clayey soils with limestone inserts. The company name derives from the nature of the particularly dark soil, rich in outcropping stones, tending to take on characteristic black contours in rainy periods.

The range proposed by Pasquale revolves around an accurate research on Brunello: the style adopted favors the expressive harmony of the fruit, without allowing itself excessive austerity, recalling the authentic wine stamp of Montalcino.

The Brunello di Montalcino Terre Nere docg represents the full expression of Sangiovese, the typical ruby red color tending to garnet reflects the tradition of this vine. Wine with good structure, elegant and fine, it has a soft and silky tannic texture. It expresses aromas of quite ripe red fruits with light menthol notes and hints of tobacco. Equipped with a good acidity that predisposes it to a long period of aging in the bottle.
