BARCO REALE DI CARMIGNANO 2019

This wine is the young version of Carmignano, made with the same grapes (Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon) and with an addition of Canaiolo. It takes its name from the ancient Medici property whose borders were surrounded by the "Barco Reale wall", more than 50 km long.

Vinified in steel, the Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC di Capezzana is red whose maturation takes place in large Allier barrels for about a year and which reveals itself in the glass with freshness and intensity.

The red Barco Reale di Carmignano announces itself with a typically ruby ​​color, with a good intensity. The range of sensations that creep into the nose tells of fruity aromas, which then turn towards more floral and wild herbs notes. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, harmonious, with a sip of pleasant freshness, characterized by a clean and flowing tannin; it ends with a very persistent finish, with a fruity aftertaste. A bottle with which the Capezzana winery, a historical reality that can boast ancient roots within the Prato terroir, has won excellent scores nationally and internationally, confirming its excellent production capacities.
