The first vintage of Caparzo's Brunello di Montalcino DOCG dates back to 1970; at the time the existing wineries in Montalcino, including Caparzo, were only 13, and this data places the company among the historic ones in the production of Brunello. The particularity of this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is certainly linked to the origin of the Sangiovese; cultivated in vineyards located in different geographical areas of the production area, its cultivation allows to make the most of the different microclimates and terroirs present in Montalcino. The grapes harvested in the vineyards distributed throughout the territory are then carefully selected so as to create the conditions for a complex wine, capable of preserving all those characteristics that make Brunello one of the most popular wines in the world.

Ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose has a penetrating bouquet, very broad and varied, with memories of wild berries. On the palate it is dry, warm, harmonious and of excellent persistence.
