Morellino di Scansano "Ribeo" from Roccapesta is a wine that owes its name to pure conviviality. In fact one day, in a restaurant between Tuscany and Emilia, the owners of the winery with friends tasted this wine without label several times and a Gabriele said: ̎è a wine that goes straight to the heart, a wine that I drink and ribevo. And the beo and ribeo ̎. Here is its main characteristic: enjoyability!

The best expression of the Sangiovese grape comes from the research and curiosity of the winery towards the maximum respect of the surrounding environment and its mixing with the vine itself. The wine also includes a small addition of another grape variety, Alicante. The vineyards are grown on soils with different soil composition at an altitude that varies between 200-270 metres above sea level.

The grapes, arrived in the cellar, are vinified separately and the spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel vats, with maceration for 12 days and without ever resorting to filtration. The wine is aged in cement vats for 12 months, followed by another 12 months in the bottle.

The Morellino di Scansano "Ribeo" is ruby red at sight, with possible sediments, a sign of the wine's vitality because it is not filtered. The nose is deep and there are sensations that recall intense fruity, spicy and tobacco notes. On the palate it is soft, warm, juicy and with well-balanced and rounded tannins. Sangiovese in the soul.
