L'Apparita, the first pure Merlot produced in Tuscany, has been a cult wine since the first vintage of 1985. Since then, there are many producers who have realized the potential of this vine in Tuscany, giving life to a real Merlot vein. . The origin of the intuition, however, is due to the Castello di Ama.
Located at the top of the Bellavista vineyard, there are the two plots that make up the L’Apparita vineyard. The open lira training system and the particularly rich clay soil make this Cru a jewel of world enology. From the first vintage this wine has kept intact the unique expression in which the characteristics of Merlot are enhanced by the combination of the terroir of Ama.

From the first sips it is clear how the charm of the originality of this bottle is still the driving force behind its success today. It has an intense, very dark, impenetrable ruby ​​red color. On the nose sensations of very ripe red fruit and almost in alcohol. The distinctive feature of this wine, however, is certainly identified in the elegant final spiciness but above all in the great minerality and balsamic resulting from the type of blend and the soil, which complete a bouquet worthy of a great wine. In the mouth soft and powerful, enveloping, more acidic and tannic and long finish, which pleasantly accompanies the end of the sip. Masterful.
