It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in steel vats at controlled temperatures, with prolonged maceration in contact with the skins. Subsequently the wine ages for 16 months in half new French oak barriques and for a further 6 months in bottle before being placed on the market
