"Corte Giara" is an innovative project, born in 1989 in Valpolicella, in the Veneto region. An initiative of the Allegrini family and a selected group of wine growers. It enhances the oenological heritage of the Veneto region, the cultivation of grapes on hilly slopes at high altitudes and the winegrowers who meet rigorous standards. Wines accessible and easy to understand, high value and soft flavors, for everyday pleasure. An excellent combination of quality, price and service. Average age of the vines of 22 years with a planting density of about 3,000 vines per hectare. Manual harvest carried out in August and soft pressing of the whole bunches. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at a fermentation temperature of 14-15 ° C for 8/10 days. Malolactic fermentation partially carried out in October. Aging for about 4 months in steel and for another 2 months in bottle. Brilliant straw yellow color. The nose is soft and delicate in expressing its scents. It is characterized by a subtle and elegant floral note followed by the golden apple and a clear vegetal note. On the palate it is dry and medium-bodied. It has an excellent correspondence to the olfactory taste and a savory and satisfying drink, simple and of great pleasure.
