Grattamacco Vermentino 2022

This Bolgheri Vermentino was born in the Grattamacco estate, located on the top of a hill overlooking the sea between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri.

It is produced entirely with Vermentino grapes, picked and selected only by hand. The fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in barriques, after which the wine is aged for 8 months in barriques for another 6 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market. Bolgheri Vermentino Grattamacco has a straw yellow color with green reflections. The nose opens with enveloping mineral notes and Mediterranean scrub, including sage. On the palate it is mineral and fresh, with a pleasant creaminess and aromatic complexity. Perfect to accompany appetizers and all fish-based preparations, this white wine is ideal in combination with fresh cheeses.
