The Pays d’Auge Calvados 6 Years by Adrien Camut originates from the distillation of apple cider. The Camut family grows 35 hectares of apple trees of different qualities - as many as twenty-five - specially chosen to produce an excellent cider. In the fields there are no chemical treatments, so that the apples grow in the best possible way. After the cider obtained from the pressing of the apples has rested in oak barrels for 10 months, we proceed with the distillation, using special Charentais-style stills patented in the 1970s by the distillery. The distillation is slow, and takes about 6 weeks. Once the Calvados is obtained, it is left to rest for 6 years in large oak barrels.

Calvados Pays d'Auge Adrien Camut 6 Years has a golden yellow color, characterized by some reflections that tend more to amber, visible above all in the nail while looking at the Calvados in the glass. A wide profile of notes on the nose, which alternates aromas of fresh fruit with spicy sensations and nuances reminiscent of caramel and wood. Concentrated to the taste, where it enters with a sip of good structure, characterized by a fruity taste that remains on the palate even once it is finished drinking. A bottle that tells of one of the most historic and important production realities linked to the production of Calvados.
