Appearance: Clear, like light gold.
Nose: fresh and floral at times. It has a delicate hint of peat and a notable salty hint. It is possible to see tobacco, a hint of pepper, honey and even dark chocolate. Citrus fruits are also clearly distinguishable! A pleasant, complex and “marine” aroma!
Palate: Very broad and deeply rich with sweet notes, presence of smoked peat, fruit (mainly pears and ripe apples), honey and a hint of vanilla. Really good!
Finish: Rather intense and persistent with a smoky and brackish aftertaste that is sure to please Islay whiskey lovers! Good balance!
