The Chianti Rufina Riserva "Nipozzano Vecchie Viti" signed by the famous winery Marchesi de' Frescobaldi continues the ancient family tradition, based on reserving a sort of "private collection" for each newborn within the family branch. It comes from the oldest vines of Castello di Nipozzano, capable of expressing an excellent aromatic complexity and a richness of fruit that is also confirmed on the palate, where the tannic texture is finely balanced, fitting well into the overall elegance of the label. Quality and price in a bottle with which it is never wrong.

The Riserva "Nipozzano Vecchie Viti" signed Marchesi de' Frescobaldi is a Chianti Rufina that comes from a blend in which, besides the reference vine, that is Sangiovese, we also find small percentages of Malvasia Nera, Colorino and Canaiolo. The vines are about 40 years old, and grow in the surroundings of the Castle of Nipozzano, within a splendid landscape setting to say the least. The must obtained from the gentle pressing of the berries ferments in stainless steel containers, and the wine is then transferred to oak barrels for a total of 24 months for the final ageing part. At the end of this period, the Riserva is bottled, and before being released on the market it remains to mature in glass for 3 months.

The Chianti "Nipozzano Vecchie Viti" Riserva di Marchesi de' Frescobaldi presents itself in the glass with a ruby red colour with a good visual impact. The nose opens on several spicy notes, which alternate during the development of the olfactory analysis with more fruity references. Concentrated the sip, certainly of impact, from which emerges a sapid vein with excellent palatal persistence. A label that, year after year, always confirms itself with interesting scores on some of the most renowned magazines in the sector.
