Malvasia "Petris" is a rich, fresh, balanced and intense expression of the Friulian Collio, vinified and aged only in steel.

Malvasia "Petris" wine from the Friulian Venica & Venica winery is a symbolic wine of Collio. Together with Ribolla Gialla and Friulano, it represents the great tradition of local whites. Furthermore, Malvasia is one of the most historically important vines in the whole Mediterranean, so much so that today it is widespread in almost all the countries bordering the Mare Nostrum. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are subjected to maceration for 20 hours at a temperature of 10/12 ° C, protected from oxygen. 60% of the must ferments and then refines on the lees for 5 months in large barrels, while 40% is vinified and aged in steel. In the glass it has a light yellow color with brilliant golden reflections. On the nose it expresses a bouquet with aromas of wild flowers and aromatic herbs of the Mediterranean scrub, fruity aromas of peach, apricot and slight tropical hints. The sip is broad, warm, rich and persistent, with a refreshing finish that closes on savory notes. A white with great personality, a faithful interpreter of the territory.
