"Filari di Mazzon" is an excellent expression of Pinot Noir, grown on the hills surrounding the picturesque village of Mazzon, located on the left of the Adige valley, at the foot of the "Monte Corno" Natural Park. This place, cradle of the delicate vine, offers clay and limestone soil which constitutes the ideal environment for its cultivation.

The distinctive characteristics of Mazzon's Pinot Noir emerge clearly: a savory, round and finely tannic wine, with a fruity profile that evokes hints of raspberry and cassis. The nose reveals a sweet fruit, while in the mouth there is a pleasant flavor alongside dense tannins.

Attention to detail during the winemaking and aging process is crucial. After a fermentation and maceration of approximately ten days, followed by a malolactic fermentation in oak vats, the wine matures for twelve months in large barrels and barriques. The assembly then takes place in wooden and steel barrels for two or three months before bottling. A further period of six months in the cellar allows the wine to reach its full maturity before being marketed.

The first bottled vintage dates back to 2001 and since then "Filari di Mazzon" has continued to stand out, producing approximately 27,000 bottles of this prized Pinot Noir annually, testimony to the commitment and passion of its producers.
