Tommasi's Valpolicella Ripasso is a label in which elegance, balance and structure coexist in a sublime way. The elegance and balance of the blend obviously derive from Tommasi's know-how, a leading name in Venetian viticulture, master in giving rise to bottles that are always punctual and precise. The good body that is felt on the palate is due to both the aging period and the winemaking technique, in which the must referments on the Amarone pomace to acquire a greater character. A product with which it always makes a good impression: if you are uncertain about what to bring to a dinner, choose it!

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso originates from a harmonious blend made by the Tommasi winery among several indigenous red berried grapes, specifically Corvina, present in the final cut with 70%, Rondinella and Corvinone. The harvest, strictly manual, is done in late September and the must ferments in steel containers for 9 days. It is then refermented on the Amarone pomace for 12-13 days, with daily pumping over, following the typical production process of Ripasso. It therefore ends with the aging phase, in which the wine remains for 15 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. After bottling, before being put on the market, there is still one semester left to mature in the bottle.

This Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Tommasi reveals itself to the eye with a ruby ​​red color, characterized by light garnet reflections in the nail. The nose is very well defined, which is wrapped in a whirlwind of warm notes that pass from withered flowers to spices and red fruit, even in jam. In the mouth it is of excellent body, structured, with a concentrated sip that wraps the palate with a fresh and savory flavor; the tannic component is perfectly integrated. A label with which Tommasi positions himself with excellent scores on the main Italian and international sector magazines.
