Dievole's "Vigna di Sessina" comes from the best and rigorous selection of Sangiovese grapes grown in the vineyard of the same name. We are faced with a Grand Selection among the most interesting of the entire DOCG of Chianti Classico, which puts not only Italian critics in agreement on excellent scores, but also the foreign press, from Robert Parker to Wine Spectator. The Sangiovese grapes, grown in a terroir rich in skeleton, are carefully harvested, and then fermented for 14 days in concrete vats, at a maximum temperature of 26 degrees. The aging phase lasts 17 months, and is carried out in French oak barrels. Fragrant and incredibly fresh on the palate, the "Vigna di Sessina" promises to evolve for several years, telling an organoleptic story gradually more and more rich in nuances.

It announces itself to the eye with a concentrated ruby red color, crossed by flashes that tend more to garnet. On the nose there is a range of enveloping fruity notes, enriched by ferrous hints and nuances of tobacco leaves and spices. It enters the mouth with an immediately elegant profile, rich in tannins, complex at the right point; ends with a long finish.
