The Riserva Baroncole di San Giusto a Rentennano is produced from rigorously selected Sangiovese (97%) and Canaiolo (3%) grapes. The fermentation and maceration is carried out in concrete and steel tanks for about 20 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in French oak barrels and casks, for a time that varies, according to the characteristics of the wine, from 16 to 20 months. After bottling, it is refined in glass for about 6 months.

On the nose the sour cherry alternates with the rose, in an olfactory bouquet that is enriched on the finish with references of undergrowth and more spicy hints. On the palate it is well structured, with a refined sip that highlights a savory soul, in which the tannin is firm and decisive.
