The Chianti Classico Peppoli, a splendid expression of vineyards located in the heart of the appellation, is a compendium of freshness and enveloping. The particular vocation of its place of origin and the intelligent balance between respect for tradition and modern practices have allowed since 1985 to give life to a wine that has now become a reference point in its typology. It is therefore a symbolic expression, a flag in the world of Chianti, that great expression from which many producers have drawn and still draw an example. Antinori is certainly one of the best known and most appreciated in the world of wine. In addition to boasting a long history and presenting symbolic and exemplary labels every year, like this Peppoli, it has opened the doors to the success of Tuscan wines, through the production of high quality bottles. These are expressions of great territorial adherence, with a Tuscan taste, the result of research, tradition and passion, which know how to reveal the "Tuscan character" of the Antinori family in a sip.

Peppoli di Antinori comes from the estate of the same name which stands out for the particular richness of minerals present in the soil, located about 5 km from the prestigious Tignanello vineyard. We are in an enchanted area, a natural amphitheater, where the Tuscan valleys are smoothed by sea breezes. With all these premises, a unique and unforgettable expression could not fail to be born: the Peppoli branded Antinori. The blend is produced for the most part from Sangiovese, while the remainder is divided between Syrah and Merlot, which give the wine a spicy and greedy contribution, as well as softness. Sangiovese macerates for 10 days in steel, while the French varieties remain in contact with the skins for a longer period. After a careful extraction of the softer tannins and a malolactic fermentation which took place separately for all three grape varieties, the potential wine is assembled and aged in wood. Refinement can only include the use of large Slavonian oak barrels, or even the use of barriques depending on the vintage.

Chianti Peppoli intrigues for its ruby color edged with violet reflections. Already from the first smell it reveals its richness that alternates references to juicy red fruit, such as cherries and raspberries, with other floral violet, typical of Sangiovese. The picture is completed by toasted nuances due to aging in wood, perfectly integrated. The mouthfeel is tasty and delicate, thanks to a caressing tannin and a good supply of freshness and flavor. Its gastronomic nature recalls first courses seasoned with meat sauces, medium-aged cheeses, and soups. An everyday wine not to be missed, for its ability to combine typicality and extreme pleasure.
