The Francesco Cadinu winery made its official entry into the wine scene in October 2015, when Francesco and his wife Simonetta decided to give life to this project. However, a passion for viticulture and the art of wine has always been part of the family's history, with some vineyards dating back even to previous generations, reaching up to the fifth generation.

Currently, the owned vineyards extend over a total area of 8 hectares, all located in the Mamoiada countryside. These vineyards are distinguished by various characteristics, such as exposure, altitude and age. The 8 vineyards present are further divided into "ghiradas", a term with which the individual viticultural units are identified. Starting from 2019, the winery began producing Ghirada Elisi and Ghirada Fittiloghe wines, while from the 2020 vintage the name of the old owner was also added, thus giving an identity even more rooted in the history of the territory: Ghirada Elisi Sa'è Antoni and Ghirada Fittiloghe Sae Tundone.

What makes the wines of the Francesco Cadinu winery unique is the selection of grapes coming from the oldest vineyards, characterized by spontaneous fermentation without the addition of yeasts. This process gives the wines a unique identity and personality, capable of telling the story and the territory from which they come.
