In speaking of the Aosta Valley wines it is impossible not to underline the extraordinary and incessant work carried out in recent years by Costantino Charrère de Les Crêtes. It is in fact thanks to him that at any moment we realized all the delicate finesse of the wines of this small patch of land. A model company, that of Les Crêtes, founded in 1989, where all the most traditional varieties of the area are found: from petit rouge to fumin, from petite arvine to chardonnay. A winery that if on the one hand, in the countryside, has always shown great attention to the territory with continuous experiments with organic and, more recently, with biodynamic, on the other hand has always had a very broad vision of the market, thus managing to export and make known the particularities of the Aosta Valley throughout the Peninsula. A reality that year after year gives us pure, elegant and pleasant wines. In the more than twenty hectares of vineyards, distributed in the territories of six different Aosta Valley municipalities, the philosophy that the company pursues is that of a management with low environmental impact, for which the use of synthetic products is reduced to the bare minimum, and the operations are performed almost exclusively manually or mechanically. In the cellar, the same "modus operandi" that is encountered between the rows returns, therefore the use of chemical substances is very limited, and each production step is aimed at enhancing what nature has created by enhancing every smallest intrinsic nuance of the fruit. The result of all this is very simple: there is no wine labeled Les Crêtes that does not clearly express what is the deepest essence of the mountains of Val d'Aosta. Whites and reds of extraordinary gustatory tension, fresh, and decisive: from "Cuvée Bois" to "Les Abeilles", passing through all the others, they are all wines, those produced by the Costantino Charrère cellar, not to be missed for anything in the world, each, each wonderful.
