Cabochon Rosè Brut Riserva 2008

A Franciacorta “Riserva” with over 60 months of bottle aging in contact with the yeasts. Cabochon Rosé is produced only in vintages with particularly favorable characteristics: the previous ones were 2005, 2001, 1995 and 1992.

Rather deep pink gold color for a beautiful nose, very rich, even dense with fruit, but fresh and crunchy, as well as streamlined by a dark citrus vein, a very fine minerality and just a hint of sweetness. Mouth still full but slender, crunchy fruit, always citrusy development in shades of dark orange, with a nice background of hinted maturity. It is a very tasty rosé with a beautiful finish, with a subtle and long persistence always on dark citrus fruits, as well as a savory trail. Great beautiful wine, important, but which is drunk with rare pleasure.
