The Haiku del Castello di Ama is an elegant and complex Tuscan red, which comes from a blend based on Sangiovese, complemented by two noble Bordeaux vines, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The two French grapes have settled very well in the Chianti lands, producing very interesting and high quality wines. The long period of aging in barrique recalls the tradition of Bordeaux reds and gives a wine with a particularly harmonious, velvety and balanced profile. To the classic varietal notes of small berries, evolved hints of undergrowth, spices and woody nuances are added. It is a fine bottle, to be enjoyed with main courses of red meats, roasts, grilled meats or game.
