La Quinta di Podere Giodo comes from the fifth Sangiovese vineyard planted in Montalcino by Carlo Ferrini. After fermentation, which takes place in steel for 7 days, the maturation continues for 12 months in tonneau and large barrels, and ends with a further passage in cement.
The nose reveals notes of cherry, morello cherry, wild berries, sweet spices, combined with evolved hematic and undergrowth aromas.
Al plato is articulated in a fine, flowing and full-bodied sip, which leads to a fresh, savory finish with good persistence.
