Deep ruby red wine glass. The nose offers elegant and intense sensations of red berry fruit, black cherry, cherry and raspberry, and violet, with references of delicate spices. The sip is rich, deep and lively. It develops with progression on balsamic and spicy hints, showing a trait of rare elegance, without ever losing vigor and harmony. A tannin that shows all the majesty of a young Sangiovese and a very long, unforgettable finish.

Toscana Rosso IGT Le Pergole Torte by Montevertine is wonderfully combined with preparations rich in the Tuscan tradition. Sublime with grilled and braised meats, white and red roast meat, poultry, game, cheese.

The first vintage released was the 1977. It was the first 100% Sangiovese wine to be produced in the Radda in Chianti area. The grapes come from our oldest vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999. It is aged for one year in Allier barriques and one year in Slavonian oak barrels.
