VALLE REALE CERASUOLO D'ABRUZZO DOC 2022

The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo from the Valle Reale winery is produced scrupulously following the rules of the specification, using the Montepulciano vine which is vinified in white with brief contact with the skins for a few hours. The grapes come from the suggestive vineyards located in the enchanting area of Valle Reale, located at the crossroads of the three Abruzzo parks: the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park to the north, the Majella National Park to the south and the Natural Regional Park of Sirente-Velino to the north-west. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. Through the pié de couve technique, several simultaneous fermentations are carried out which are then amalgamated into a single assembly, giving life to the Cerasuolo vintage. This wine, designed to accompany the table, draws its strength and substance from Montepulciano.

From a sensorial point of view, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Valle Reale stands out for its color and its aroma which recall the characteristics from which the wine takes its name. It has a typical pink color tending towards cherry, while clear hints of red and wild berries emerge on the nose. The structure of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo manifests itself fully in the mouth, highlighting a dry taste and a consistent volume.
