The Umbria Pinot Grigio IGT "Gocce di Stelle" by Roberto Lepri is the result of a lengthy fermentation process lasting a remarkable 20 days. It then rests for 6 months on fine lees to refine the aromas and soften the flavor. Hailing from a region less celebrated but equally suitable for cultivating this grape variety, a pure Pinot Grigio emerges with splendid varietal expressiveness, easy to enjoy, and ideal for daily consumption. The color is a rather light straw with slight coppery reflections. On the nose, it is fresh, revealing precise fruity aromas of William pear, apple, and medlar, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of minerality. Soft, simple, and gratifying, it impresses on the palate with the contrast between vibrant acidity and alcoholic warmth, along with a pleasant tactile sensation.
