This sumptuous Bolgheri Superiore DOC “Greppicaia” comes from the best bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon combined with lower percentages of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. After pressing, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature and subsequently the wine is left to mature for 18 months in French oak barrels. A great red with a typical Mediterranean character.
It is characterized by aromas of ripe fruit that evolve towards delicate notes of undergrowth and truffle. Elegant and spicy, with soft tannins and great persistence in the finish.
