Matarocchio 2016

A wine produced in a very limited edition. It is a Bolgheri of extraordinary caliber, as others do not meet. It is Antinori's “Matarocchio” produced in the Guado al Tasso estate. Obtained from Cabernet Franc grapes vinified in purity, it is left to age in French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by a further 12 months of aging in bottle.
It is a Cabernet Franc that has great aging potential, dense and voluptuous, surprising in its organoleptic complexity, ready to give enormous satisfaction. It is a great red from Bolgheri.

Matarocchio 2016: Deep ruby red color. The nose expresses grace and finesse, with notes ranging from black fruit to balsamic and almost spicy hints of pepper and green tea. In the mouth, the tactile sensation is extraordinary, with a dense but not exuberant tannin, definitely oriented towards elegance and depth. It is a wine of rare persistence and harmony.
