BUTUSSI PINOT GRIGIO RAMATO 2022

This Pinot Grigio Ramato di Butussi is produced on hilly terrain rich in marl and sandstone which has a distinctive character that reflects the unique environment in which the grapes ripen. The harvest, carried out manually, takes place when the grapes reach their full optimal ripeness, usually towards the second ten days of September.
Winemaking is an artisanal process that reflects attention to every detail. A part of the grapes is vinified as white, while approximately 40% undergoes cold maceration for 36 hours to best extract the rosé notes. The fermentation is mainly indigenous, with a small addition of selected yeast to complete the process. After fermentation, the wine matures in traditional untoasted oak barrels for a period of six to eight months, contributing to its complexity and character.

The wine has a copper color and offers a bouquet on the nose that evokes the aromas of wild flowers, fresh fruit and small red berries from the undergrowth. In the mouth, it stands out for its dryness, velvety consistency and persistence of flavors. It pairs beautifully with fish starters, raw fish, shellfish and grilled white meats, offering a complete and satisfying gastronomic experience.
