ENDRIZZI LAGRERIN 2021

Lagrein, an emblematic vine of the Trentino area, finds its maximum expression in the vineyards of San Michele all'Adige and Faedo, located on the alluvial fan of the Rio Faedo, upstream from the renowned Cantina Endrizzi. Here, the Guyot training system on dolomitic-limestone soil with alluvial stratifications gives the wine a unique complexity.

With a yield limited to 70 hl per hectare, the harvest takes place strictly by hand, with a selection of the best grapes after careful summer thinning. The winemaking is characterized by fermentation with maceration for 6-8 days in "Ganimede" type tanks, with soft and effective punching down. Malolactic fermentation and refinement in large oak barrels allow the intense fruity taste typical of Lagrein to be preserved.

The result is a wine with a deep and brilliant ruby color, with an elegant aroma that evokes notes of violet and small berries. In the mouth it is full, harmonious and very fruity, with a particular and unrepeatable character that best reflects the characteristics of the mountain terroir in which it is grown.

Ideal in combination with cold cuts, Lagrein goes perfectly with red meats and tasty cheeses, offering an unforgettable gastronomic experience that celebrates the authenticity and excellence of the Trentino lands.
